Dell to start selling smartphones in China

(China Knowledge) - Dell Inc, the world's second-largest PC maker, said on Friday that it will start selling its first smartphone in China in late November, a move marking the company's official entry into the smartphone market, Reuters reported.
The smartphone is called Mini 3 and is powered by Google Inc' Android software. The new phone will be available in Brazil after the China launch. Timetable for launching the smartphone in other markets was not given.

Acer Android Phones

Acer Execs in London revealed a nameless Acer Android smartphone. The detailing hasn't been done to the press people, but from the litle information that people have says the Acer Android smartphone packs a Snapdragon 768MHz processor and WVGA screen, plus a 5MP camera. This phone is supposedly correct the typos while texting or mailing. Looking forward to more details on this. Acer had a good run in the laptop business and lets see how good are they with the phones.
