E72 Review
Nokia E72 is one of those handsets everybody is talking about long before their release. There may be nothing much to talk about - after all everyone knows what to expect of the Eseries and they have never let us down. But still, savoring the next batch of Eseries steel is always a pleasure.
The Finns keep feeding business ammo to the market and there's nothing out of the usual at first sight. We already tasted the new Eseries generation and the E52 and E55 were the usual good healthy meals. The E72 though needs to be nothing short of delicious.
Nokia E72 official photos
There's no need to tell you the Nokia E72 walks and talks business. The big one though has greater responsibility to carry. We guess the E72 will not fear being judged against the best messengers in its class. But it will certainly look back to a haunting shadow within its own family. The Nokia E72 can certainly go where the E71 would not venture. But it's not only the equipment (of which the E72 has aplenty) that makes a winner.

Beware If you are using an Unlocked Iphone!!
The good news is that your iPhone can still have that 3.1 iPhonee goodness and your unlocked iPhone. You just need to trust in the iPhone Dev team, because their tools provide a way to install the update without updating the baseband and breaking the unlock.
If you update to Apple’s new software using the normal iTunes process, you will lose your ultrasn0w unlock. In fact you may lose it permanently, because for most people the baseband firmware cannot be reverted to a previous version (unlike the main application CPU firmware).
But don’t worry…our PwnageTool program lets you update your main firmware without touching your baseband firmware, so you can still have the best of both worlds. But you must be diligent about saying “no” to your iTunes request this week to update your firmware.

New Nokia Laptop
Nokia rocked the world this morning by introducing its spin on the laptop, called the Booklet 3G. If you're the rude sort (like us) you could call it a fancy netbook, what with its Atom processor and 10.1-inch display, but that screen is higher res than your average Eee, and it also sports integrated 3G wireless and a hot-swappable SIM card, so it's definitely trying to define its own niche. It looks to be running Windows 7, which isn't particularly netbooky, and also has integrated A-GPS with a copy of Ovi Maps, HDMI output, a rated 12 hour battery life, and the usual Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, all in a 2cm (.78 inch), 2.7lb aluminum body that's understated, sophisticated, and should make most Nokia fans very happy -- Nokia fans who are looking for a tiny laptop, anyway. There's a fancy promotional video after the break, and while we don't have any anticipated release date or price just yet, we'll be learning more at Nokia World 09 on September 2. We promise not to make too many Foleo references

Call your messenger contacts thru your phone...!!
About Nimbuzz Mobile
Nimbuzz Mobile lets you call, chat, message, and send files on the go, for free. It combines all your buddies from Skype, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM, Google Talk and more. One login, one contact list, all accounts.
See who´s online and where, call/group-call, chat/chatrooms, offline messaging, send photos/music/video, voice messaging.
Nimbuzz Mobile free to download and use. Nimbuzz will not charge or bill you for anything. However, since Nimbuzz uses your internet connection, incremental data charges from your provider will apply. We therefore strongly recommend to use the mobile client only with a flat-rate data plan or free Wifi connection.
Save Money: Instead of calling minutes, Nimbuzz uses the internet to let you make free international calls to your buddies. You can also register your VoIP account to call your friends on landlines and mobile phones.
Calling your messenger contacts thru your phone... Now how cool is that.!!! I use this facility and it works fine even with the GPRS.
Locate your Friends: Share your location and retrieve the location of your buddies on a map. Great for arranging face to face meetings.
Make yourself heard: If your buddies are offline, let them know you’re trying to get in touch by sending them a "Buzz". It will start Nimbuzz Mobile on their mobile phone.
Never lose your Contacts: Use the Phonebook to back up and restore your contacts. Contacts will be backed up online. Comes in handy when you have lost your mobile phone.

A happy Docomo customer Speaks!
Savings Alert After every Outgoing call
ISD calls on 1 second charging
Best SMS rates from TATA DOCOMO
Pre activated STD, ISD and National Roaming without rental
Anywhere in India Recharge with TATA DOCOMO
Total Information control
This what you would find in docomowebsite.
Being a customer I have certain things to talk about too.
I really got surprised when I got to know that the sim is internet ready. Dint get what I am talking about? Ok, The moment I inserted the sim it asked me to save the settings for gprs and mobile office. Something which I waited for a month(dint happen though) in Vodafone!!. later I had to flush that sim.
Now I am all set to chat with my buddies and access my pop3 accounts. sounds interesting?
Next shocker was when I compared the previous bill with a different provider with my docomo. I almost saved Rs.1000+!!! on my 2200 bill. The reason is mostly we end our call in 30-40 seconds if its for some urgency. and this 20-30 seconds save alot. And dont forget the 99 free sms on 1 sms charge.
I never had to contact a customer care once I started using this connection, where in I had many 'friends' in airtel and Vodafone!!! u know what I mean right?
Ufff... Now I want to recharge!!! I have talked alot... hold on...
I have a service in docomo where in i can recharge any docomo number including mine.. Now How interesting is that? From now no queues for me..
So I greately recommend this after 1 and half month of usage.
Noe do you think I am a flirt?? Noways.. I was loyal to airtel for almost close to 3 years. Stil it dint take much of my time to decide to go in for docomo.
Now every service providers have to be on their toeos to come closer to what these guys provide.

Facebook charges past wikipedia
Source : Dan Leahul, Brand Republic
LONDON - Facebook is now more popular than Wikipedia, according to new traffic figures, which makes the social network the fourth most visited website in the world, behind Google, Microsoft and Yahoo!.
Facebook has grown over 150% in the past year, adding 24m unique visitors in June alone. The website is visited by 340m unique users each month with 250m active users.
In the past year, its traffic figures have surpassed MySpace, Amazon, eBay and AOL, according to comScore.
As it stands, Facebook remains the only website in the top 10 which has yet to figure out a sustainable revenue stream, and it has a long way to go before it catches the top three, Google, Microsoft and Yahoo! -- who garner between 200m and 500m more unique visitors every month.
Yet its growth is significant when considering Facebook's age -- the website has only been around for five years, compared to the established old guard of Microsoft and Yahoo!.
Also, comScore tallies all of the companies websites together -- while Google remains on top at 844m monthly unique visitors, that includes all of its web properties, including Gmail and YouTube -- whereas Facebook only counts Facebook.com.

Loose weight.... use blackberry!
Enhanced Version Launches This Week on BlackBerry App World
BOCA RATON, Fla.--(For Michael Schneider, a busy college student with an on-the-go lifestyle and no time for shopping or cooking, weight loss was almost impossible. Desperate for a nutrition plan that fit with his unpredictable schedule, he downloaded Weight Loss Sensei, a Virtual Dietitian application for his BlackBerry® smartphone. Six months later, Michael has lost more than 50 pounds with the Weight Loss Sensei Application by eating the healthy options Sensei recommends at his favorite restaurants and fast food locations. (Photo available upon request.)
Understanding the need for on-the-go weight loss support, released the Weight Loss Sensei application for BlackBerry® smartphones, which is available now for download on BlackBerry App World™ or on the Sensei for Weight Loss site (http://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.Sensei.com&esheet=6033668&lan=en_US&anchor=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.Sensei.com&index=4), as part of its comprehensive online and mobile phone weight loss program. Sensei’s program teaches consumers how to embrace a healthy lifestyle with customized meal plans, fitness tips and encouraging advice pushed directly to the dieter’s mobile phone or computer.
Weight Loss Sensei’s flexible plan and virtual mobile coach encourages Michael to make healthy choices on-the-go.
“My BlackBerry is my constant companion, and I rely on it for everything. With Weight Loss Sensei installed, it’s easy to stick with my diet because the plan is with me wherever I go,” said Schneider. “Instead of having to plan ahead for every meal, I use the mobile application to live spontaneously and still lose weight.”
Weight Loss Sensei transforms the BlackBerry smartphone into a 24/7 weight loss coach, with a program tailored to meet individual needs, preferences and challenges. With personalized recommendations for on-the-go dining, quick exercises, and frequent motivational tips, Weight Loss Sensei helps busy dieters stay successful in any situation.
“We created the Weight Loss Sensei Application to make it easier for today’s dieter to choose healthy dining options at any time and any place from their BlackBerry smartphone,” said Robert Schwarzberg, CEO of Sensei. “Too often, unplanned events and stressors lead to impulsive choices and reap havoc on diets. Sensei’s application provides support at these critical junctures to keep users on track.”
Instead of a one-size-fits-all solution, Sensei takes a detailed account of the unique challenges each user faces and builds a nutrition and fitness program based on lifestyle, cuisine preference and budget. The Sensei customer is reminded when to exercise, what to buy from the grocery store, and encouraged to “stick with it” when confronted with various challenges. These personalized tips are sent directly to the Sensei user through his or her BlackBerry smartphone.
Mobile Phones: The Sensei Way to Weight Loss
Originally launched in November, 2007, Weight Loss Sensei is among the first “intelligent applications” available based on Social Cognitive Theory and the science of behavioral informatics - the use of technology to promote behavior change. The program draws on both Web and mobile technologies to personalize interaction with the user, maximizing convenience and increasing the user’s prospects for long term weight-management success. The experience begins online, where users enter their desired weight, food preferences, eating habits, meal times, exercise routines and other personal information. Sensei’s expert system then works with the user to generate a realistic, customized nutrition and fitness plan.
consumers download the application, they will be prompted to enroll using their smartphone. Alternatively, they can also enroll online and have the application sent directly to their BlackBerry smartphone
Social Networks and Talent Strategies
All the chatter around social networking seems apropos considering it is—at its core—a communications media. However, examinations of the demographics, trends, and impact send some mixed messages. For example:
Facebook users get lower grades in college features an Ohio State University study where the 85% of students who are Facebook users get lower grades. Yet Facebook, YouTube at work make better employees: study highlights an Australian study where workers who use the Internet at work are 9% more productive. And opportunities abound as Social Networking jobs are steadily rising.
Meanwhile, the intersection of social networking and recruiting continues to be controversial. Jobseekers are counseled on How to Turn Social Networking Into a Job Offer while Bosses and Workers Disagree on Social Network Privacy.
The Consumer Internet Barometer found 43% of the online community now use social networking sites, up from 27% a year ago. But College Students’ Facebook Use Easing Up Over the Summer, While Parents Logging On in Record Numbers.
The social networking demographic has surely broadened beyond Gen Y along with the applications of the technologies.
Successful organizations are using social technologies to complement their talent strategies. Find out more about Leveraging the 4 C’s of Social Software to Drive Talent Management Adoption on July 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET.
